Sid Richardson Museum

Fort Worth, TX

The Projects Group (TPG) was an integral part of the Sundance Square Redevelopment, including coordination and management of the Sid Richardson Museum. Since the renovation, attendance has grown to over 50,000 annually, with visitors coming from all 50 states and over 53 foreign countries.

The Museum, originally opened in 1982, expanded the museum from 4,370 SF to 6,340 SF. The Museum modified a 1980's storefront into a replica of an 1895 historic building. The updated gallery and educational spaces, museum store, and back-of-house areas allow visitors to view elaborate Western art collections while complementing the pedestrian-oriented Sundance Square in Downtown Fort Worth.

The Projects Group has also been retained to perform facilities-management projects at the museum since this initial renovation.
